Early Life and Personal Life
Akshara was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, to Kamal Haasan and Sarita Thakur. She did her schooling variously at Lady Andal Venkatasubba Rao Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Chennai, Beacon High School in Mumbai and Indus International School, Bangalore. Following her parents separation in 2004, Akshara lives with her mother in Mumbai.
