Antoine Fuqua

Antoine Fuqua is an American film director known for his work in The Replacement Killers (1998), Training Day (2001),Tears of the Sun (2003), King Arthur (2004), Shooter (2007), Brooklyn's Finest (2010) and Olympus Has Fallen (2013). After graduating from West Virginia University in Morgantown, Fuqua started off his career by directing music videos of popular artists like Tori Baxton and Prince. He has won several awards for his music video production. Apart from films and music videos, Fuqua has directed commercials for brands like Reebok, Toyota and Armani. Most of Fuqua's films contain various politically driven elements. His other releases include Southpaw (2015) and The Magnificent Seven (2016).

In 2018, he directed Hollywood action thriller The Equalizer 2, starring Denzel Washington and Pedro Pascal in lead roles.
