The Filmfare and Karnataka State Film Award winner, Avinash Yelandur is an Indian actor who majorly appears in the Kannada and Tamil film industries, enjoying critical and commercial acclaim in both. In a career spanning more than two decades, some of his most notable work can be seen in films like Yuddha Kaanda (1989), Mathadana (2001), Chigurida Kanasu (2003), School Master (2010), Aptharakshaka (2010), Sandamarutham (2015), and Moondraam Ullaga Por (2016). His 2017 release includes the Kannada language drama movie Raaga. Directed and written by P. C. Shekar, it stars Mithra and Bhama in the lead.
