Balaji Tharaneetharan, born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, is an Indian film director, who working in Tamil film industry. Balaji has made a short film, edited corporate films and documentaries, and worked as a dialogue writer too before becoming a full-time film maker. He directed the movie Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom , which starred Vijay Sethupathi, Gayathri and Ramu in the lead role. His 2018 release includes Seethakaathi.
