Baltasar Kormakur

BIOGRAPHY

Baltasar Kormakur is an Icelandic actor, theater and film director, and film producer. He was born in Reykjavik, Iceland. A keen interest in arts and an eye for theater made him pursue Arts from Iceland's National Academy of Fine Arts in 1990. Baltasar was signed on by the National Theater of Iceland after graduation, where he worked as a leading performing artist. Within no time he garnered fame in Iceland for his independent directorial projects as well as his acting performances at the National Theater.
