Becky G.

Rebbeca Marie Gomez, better known by her stage name Becky G, is a popular American singer, songwriter, model, rapper and actress who rose to fame in 2011 she started posting online videos of herself singing covers of popular songs. Gomez who started her career as a singer got her first big break as she was offered a joint record deal with Kemosabe Records and RCA Records. Becky subsequently collaborated with renowned artists like will.i.am, Cody Simpson, Cher Lloyd and in 2013 she released her debut singles Becky from the Block, which received positive reception. The same year, Gomez also released her maiden extended play, Play It Again.

The singer-turned-actress achieved international fame and recognition with the release of her album Shower (2014), which went on to be at the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Gomez made her acting debut with House of Sin in 2011 and later starred in the American superhero film Power Rangers (2017).
