Best known for writing biopics and his frequent collaboration with fellow writing partner Stephen J. Rivele, Christopher Wilkinson is an American screenwriter, producer, and director. Best known for writing the screenplay for the 1995 film Nixon, which won him an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Screenplay, Wilkinson in his career spanning over two decades has written for more than 10 films, most of which is also his production ventures. Some of his most notable film credits as a writer include Ali (2001), Copying Beethoven (2006), Miles Ahead (2015) and Birth of the Dragon, a martial arts action film directed by George Nolfi. The film, which was screened at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2016, released in the theaters in August 2017.
