Damien Molony is an Irish actor based in London. His career includes roles in theatre, films, TV series as well as radio dramas. Some of his notable works in theatre include acting in productions of John Ford's 'Tis Pity She's A Whore, Tom Stoppard's The Hard Problem, and Shakespeare's King Lear (during which he shared the stage with Sir Ian McKellen). Damien Molony's role as a vampire in the BBC Three series Being Human (2010-2013) was his first television credit and also his most widely known role. Molony even used the character to promote the cause of blood donation. Since then he has starred in several series including Crashing (2016), directed by Emmy award winner Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and the comedy series Brassic (2019). His first feature film was the 2015 film Kill Your Friends. His 2019 releases include The Current War.
