Famous worldwide for portraying the suave secret agent James Bond in Casino Royale (2006), Daniel Craig is an English actor, who added emotional undertones to an otherwise superficial character. He received more acclaim with like The Golden Compass (2007) and reprised his role as Bond in Quantum of Solace (2008). Some of his more recent films include The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn (2011), and The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (2011). In 2012, he starred in the 23rd Bond movie, Skyfall. Directed by Sam Mendes, the movie was a smash hit, with Craig receiving several accolades and praises for his performance. His 2017 release includes Steven Soderbergh comedy film Logan Lucky, which is a multi-starrer, co-starring Adam Driver, Channing Tatum, Riley Keough, Seth MacFarlane, Katie Holmes, Hilary Swank, Katherine Waterston, Sebastian Stan, and Jesco White in important roles.
Daniel Craig began acting at the age of six, by featuring in small productions and later attended Everyman Theatre to further hone his craft. Daniel moved to London when he was 16 to join the National Youth Theatre. He graduated in 1991 from Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
He dabbled in theater, appearing in plays like Angels in America, before making his feature film debut with the film The Power of One (1992), in which he starred alongside Morgan Freeman. After his successful debut, Daniel was a part of films like A Kid in King Arthurs Court (1995), Obsession (1997), Elizabeth (1998) and the hugely praised film, The Trench (1999). Riding high on the success of the film, he made appearances in commercial successes like Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001) and Road to Perdition (2002). Daniel starred in a string of award-winning films, including The Mother (2003), Layer Cake (2004), Enduring Love (2004) and Munich (2005).
