David Bowie

David Robert Jones, who is professionally known as David Bowie was a singer and a songwriter. David took birth in Brixton, south London and developed his interest in music since his childhood. He went on to study art, music and design before he could embark on a professional career as a musician in 1963. He was one of the leading figures in pop music for over five decades and he was acclaimed by critics and other musicians for his innovative work.
During his lifetime, his world wide hit albums made him one of the world's best selling music artists. He was one of the few artists that managed to influence popular music of his decade and his songs and lyrics were much loved by his fans.
