David Strathairn

BIOGRAPHY

David Strathairn, born on January 26, 1949, in San Francisco, US is an American actor who had set a benchmark of his career when featured in George Clooney's Good Night, and Good Luck. He had to smoke a lot of cigarettes and pipes for his role in Good Nigh, and Good Luck despite being a non-smoker. He has won a Venice Film Festival Award and an Emmy Award. He is married to Logan Goodman and has a son. His 2019 release includes Godzilla 2: King of the Monsters. Directed by Michael Dougherty, the movie stars Vera Farmiga, Kyle Chandler and Ken Watanabe in prominent roles.
