Director and writer Deekay made his debut in 2014 with the Tamil comedy horror Yaamirukka Bayamey, which he also wrote for. Following his debut, he directed and wrote the story and screenplay for Kavalai Vendam, the comedy romance starring Kajal Aggarwal and Jiiva, which was dubbed in Telugu in 2017 titled Enthavaraku Ee Prema. His 2018 release includes Katteri, directed by Deekay.
