Denis Menochet

Best remembered for playing the role of a French farmer in the critically acclaimed Quentin Tarantino directed film Inglorious Basterds, Denis Menochet is a French TV and film actor. Menochet who mostly appears in French TV series started his career with Canadian French and English adventure TV series, Adventure Inc. in 2003, the later starred mostly in French TV series and short films, before eventually gaining global recognition and fame with his role in Inglorious Basters in 2009. For his brilliant role in the opening scene of the movie, Menochet won several awards including the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture and the Critics' Choice Movie Award for Best Acting Ensemble.

His other notable acting credits including The Adopted (2011), a French drama feature film for which Menochet won the Lumieres Award for Most Promising Actor and Spotless (2015), a French-British TV series that was showcased on the Netflix globally. His 2018 release includes 7 Days In Entebbe (2018), an English crime drama thriller directed by Jose Padilha.
