Emile Davenport Hirsch is an American television and film actor well-known for his role as Christopher McCandless in Sean Penns Oscar-nominated, Into The Wild (2007). Hirsch made his movie debut in Jodie Fosters The Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys (2002). Before appearing on the big screen he was seen in television shows like 3rd Rock from the Sun (19962001), Early Edition (19962000), The Pretender (19962000), Sabrina, the Teenage Witch (19962003), Players (19971998) and ER (19942009). His other acting credits include movies like Wild Iris (2001), The Emperor's Club (2002), The Girl Next Door (2004), Imaginary Heroes (2005), Lords of Dogtown (2005), Alpha Dog (2007), Into the Wild (2007), Milk (2008), Speed Racer (2008), Taking Woodstock (2009), The Motel Life (2012), Savages (2012), Lone Survivor (2013), Prince Avalanche (2013), 10,000 Saints (2015), Vincent N Roxxy (2016) and The Autopsy of Jane Doe (2016). Hirsch stars alongside J.K. Simmons and Analeigh Tipton in Gavin Weisens All Nighter (2017). The movie is a road trip comedy.
