An American movie filmmaker, Guy Ritchie made his directorial debut with the 1998 British comedy film Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels. After the success of his first film, he went on to helm movies like Snatch (2000), Mean Machine (2001), Sherlock Holmes (2009), Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows (2011), and The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (2015). His 2017 project as a director, writer, and producer includes the adventure drama film King Arthur: Legend of the Sword. Directed by Guy Ritchie, the movie stars Charlie Hunnam, Katie McGrath, Jude Law, and Eric Bana in important roles. In 2019, he directed Disney's action adventure and fantasy Aladdin, starring Will Smith, Naomi Scott and Mena Massoud in prominent roles.
