Irangani Roxanna Serasinghe, the aunt of former Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe is a TV and film actress who is known for her playing motherly roles. The actress made her debut on the silver screen with Rekava (1950) subsequently starred in films like Delovak Athara (1966), The God King (1974), Awaragira (1990), Sakman Maluwa (2003), Water (2005), Rosa Kale (2008) and Abhinikmana (2013). Apart from films, the actress has also starred in various TV shows; after making her debut with Yashorwaya (the 1980s), she later starred in Doo Daruwo (1990-95), Nadayo (1996-97), Muthu Kirilli (2008-10) and Amanda (2010-11).
