EARLY LIFE :
Lee Grinner Pace is an American actor born in Chickasha, Oklahoma and brought up in Saudi Arabia and then moved to houston Texas. He temporily quit Highschool and joined Houston's Alley Theatre. There he appeared in the plays like Spider's Web and The Greeks. He joined Juilliard School's Drama division and later graduated from there with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS :
After graduation, Pace starred in several plays. He made his debut in film industry with the film, Soldiers Girl (2003). His filmography includes The White Countess (2005), Infamous (2006), Polarbearman (2008), A Single Man (2009) and When in Rome (2010). He was then seen in The Resident (2011), The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 (2012), Lincoln (2012), and The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012), The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (2012) Guardians of the Galaxy (2013) and The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies (2014). His upcoming film, The Program is set to release in March, 2016.

AWARDS :
- Won Outstanding Artistic Contribution at Berlin International Film Festival for the film The Good Shepherd (2006).
- Detroit Film Critic Society, US awarded him as a Best Ensemble for Guardians of the Galaxy in 2014.
- Lee has won Gotham Awards in 2003 for Soldier's Girl.
