Martin Freeman

BIOGRAPHY

Martin Freeman is an English actor, who is known for his roles as Tim Canterbury in The Office, Dr. John Watson in Sherlock and Lester Nygaard in Fargo. Apart from his credentials as a television actor, Freeman is also a critically acclaimed film actor. His most noted roles include Love Actually (2003), The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy (2005), Nativity! (2009) and the Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy (2004-2013). However, Freeman gained international recognition for his role as Bilbo Baggins in the Hobbit trilogy (2012-2014). Among his numerous accolades, he has an Emmy Award, a BAFTA Award and Empire Award to his name. Freeman has also been a part of many hit TV shows like Sherlock, Fargo, Hardware, The Robinsons, Charles II: the Power and the Passion, to name a few. He will next star in the film, Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, which will be releasing in March, 2016.
