Oprah Winfrey is an American talk show host, producer and actor who made her film debut in 1985 with The Color Purple and is also popular for shows The Oprah Winfrey Show, Brewster Place and Oprah's Master Class. She has acted in more than 20 films and also produced more than 30 TV series and movies. Her film credits include The Butler, Selma and Native Son. She has won the African-American Film Critics Association Award for Best Supporting Actress for The Butler and Women Film Critics Circle Award for Best Female Action Star for the movie, Selma.
