Paul McGillion

Canadian actor Paul McGillion is best known for his portrayal of the character Dr. Carson Beckett in the popular sci-fi tv show Stargate Atlantis (2004-2009), for which he was nominated for a Leo Award for Best Supporting Actor in a drama series in 2005. McGillion started out in showbiz in mid-1990s, and has since appeared in over seventy tv shows and more than twenty-five tv shows in the course of a two-decade long career.


The X-Files, the horror fantasy Supernatural, the superhero series The Flash and the historical drama Frontier are among the actors other significant television credits. Notable feature film credits include the sci-fi adventure movie Star Trek (2009), Tomorrowland (2015), the romantic drama Midnight Sun (2018) and the action thriller Skyscraper (2018).
