Rainn Wilson

BIOGRAPHY

Rainn Wilson is an American actor, comedian and writer. Though he made his film debut with the 1999 film Galaxy Quest, Wilson rose to prominence with his portrayal of Dwight Schrute in the Emmy Award winning comedy series The Office. In the course of the shows run, Wilson was nominated thrice for a Primetime Emmy for Best Supporting Actor. The actor has also appeared in supporting and leading roles in several movies, significant among which are Sahara (2005), Juno (2007), Super (2010), Cooties (2014) and The Boy (2015). Notable television credits include Monk, Backstrom, Roadies and Star Trek: Discovery.
