Screenwriter, author and researcher Rajesh Devraj is best known for penning the comedy-drama Fakir of Venice, which also marked his feature film debut as a writer. He has also co-authored a book titled The Art of Bollywood with Edo Bouman and Paul Duncan, which follows the history and evolution of poster art in the industry. Other significant film credits as a writer include Quick Gun Murugun: Misadventures of an Indian Cowboy (2009) and the animated mythological war drama Arjun: The Warrior Prince (2012).
In 2018, Rajesh wrote the historical sports drama Gold, which was directed by Reema Kagti and starred Akshay Kumar in the lead role.
