An actor and music composer, Richard Mundy started his career as an actor with Machan (2008) where he played the role of a German police officer. His other notable credits as an actor include Sinhawalokanaya (2011), Ahelopola Kumarihami (2014), and his 2018 release includes Father of Independence: DS Nidhasa Piya (2018) directed by Suneth Malinga Lokuhewa.
