BIOGRAPHY

Famous for portraying the role of Jamie Fraser in the Outlander TV series, Sam Heughan is a Scottish film, television and theatre actor. A graduate of Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, Heughan started acting as a student and was first seen in the play, Outlying Islands, for which he got nominated for the Laurence Oliver Award for Most Promising Performer in 2003. Post this, he acted in various plays such as Hamlet, A Plague Over England and King John. Apart from plays, Sam has been part of over ten TV series and five movies, some of which include Hallmark's A Princess for Christmas (2011), Heart of Lightness (2014) and the 2018 action comedy, The Spy Who Dumped.
