Yvonne Perera, better known by her screen name Sandhya Kumari was a popular Sri Lankan actress who was known to play mostly femme fatale roles. The actress who made her debut on the silver screen with Adata Wadiya Heta Hondai (1963) subsequently starred in films like Dheewarayo (1964), Allapu Gedera (1965), Pini Bindu (1968) and Sakuntala (1977).
