Known for playing the villain in hit movies like Sundarapandian (2012), Varuthapadatha Valiber Sangam (2013), and Jigarthanda (2014), Soundararaja is an Indian film actor and a short film producer, who predominantly works in Tamil cinema. One of his other notable films as a villain was Dharma Durai in 2016. He followed this up by playing a second hero in Enakku Veru Engum Kilaigal Kidayathu (2016), which was a commercial success gaining him further recognition. His 2017 releases include the social drama film Thondan, under the direction of actor-director Samuthirakani, and the action drama Sathriyan, directed by S. R. Prabhakaran. He is also associated with 2017 movie Thiruttuppayale 2 directed by Susi Ganeshan starring Bobby Simha, Prasanna, Amala Paul and Sanam Shetty in lead.
