Stanley Shapiro

BIOGRAPHY

Stanley Shapiro, born on July 16, 1925 in New York City, was a screenwriter and producer. He began his career with the television and radio since then he has grown into the films. He's famously known for his three of Doris Day's successful films. His other notable films include Operation Petticoat, That Touch of Mink and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. He won 1 Oscars and another 6 nominations in total. He died on July 21, 1990 in Los Angeles. His 2019 release includes The Hustle, directed by Chris Addison.
