Taye Diggs is an American actor and singer. Best known for his work in television shows like Private Practice and Murder in the First, Diggs has appeared in over 30 films and numerous television shows in a career spanning over two decades. He is also a seasoned Broadway actor, and has appeared in pivotal roles in popular musicals like Rent and Hedwig and the Angry Inch. The actor made his feature film debut in the 1998 romantic comedy How Stella Got Her Groove Back, and some of his significant movie credits include The Best Man (1999), Chicago (2002), Days of Wrath (2008) and Opening Night (2016). For his performance in the legal drama series Kevin Hill, Diggs won The NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series in 2005. Other significant acting credits include tv shows like Grey's Anatomy, The Good Wife and Empire, and films like House on Haunted Hill (1999), Brown Sugar (2002), Drum (2004) and The Best Man Holiday (2013). Notable voice acting credits include 101 Dalmatians: The Series (1997) and My Little Pony: The Movie (2017).
