Best known for playing mostly character roles, Anthony Tiran Todd, better known by his screen name, Tony Todd is a versatile artist, he is an actor, voice artist and producer rolled into one. Widely popular for playing the roles of Sergeant Warren in the 1986 movie Platoon and Ben in Night of the Living Dead (1990), Todd, in his illustrious career spanning more than 30 years has starred in more than 100 films and 20 TV series'.

An alumnus of the Artists Collective, Inc. Tony, after completed his studies at the University of Connecticut, went to study theater at the Tony Award Winning Eugene O'Neill National Actors Theatre Institute and Trinity Rep Conservatory. Todd started his career in acting with a small role in the 1986 feature film Sleepwalk, before winning wide appreciation and gaining popularity for his role in Platoon (1986). His other notable film credits include Lean on Me (1989), Candyman (1992), Shadow Builder (1998), Scarecrow Slayer (2003), Final Destination 3 (2006), Man from Earth (2007), The Garves (2002), Disciples (2014), and Death House (2017).

Apart from working in the theatrical and TV films, Todd has also worked extensively in the TV industry. He made his debut on the small screen around the same time as his feature film debut. His maiden appearance on TV was with Simon & Simon (1987) where the played the role of Troy Tolliver in a singular episode titled 'I Thought the War Was Over'. His other popular TV series credits include NYPD Blue (1997), Star Trek: Voyager (1998), Smallville (2001), CSI: Miami (2002), Criminal Minds (2005), Boston Legal (2007), The Flash (2015-16) and Room 104 (2017).
