Whitney Houston (Houston) a.k.a. Whitney Elizabeth Houston, Nippy, The Prom Queen of Soul, The Voice, was an American singer, actress, producer, and model, born on August 9, 1963, in Newark, New Jersey, USA. Houston married R&B singer, Bobby Brown, on July 18, 1992 butthey divorced in 2007. They have a daughter together. She released her debut album, 'Whitney Houston', in 1985. She gave many hit singles like ''Saving All My Love For You'', ''I Will Always Love You'', ''I'm Every Woman'', ''I Believe in You and Me'' and ''Step by Step'', to name a few.
Whitney, I'm Your Baby Tonight, My Love Is Your Love, Just Whitney..., One Wish: The Holiday Album and I Look to You, are some of Houston's albums. She had appeared in many commercials, TV shows and films. She also performed in various concert and has been the recipietn of many awards such as NAACP Image Award, Young Artist Award, Grammy Awards etc. She died on February 11, 2012, by accidental drowning due to her heart disease and cocaine use.
