Yureni Noshika is a Sri Lankan actor, who started her career as a model, and won the title of Miss Sri Lanka in a beauty pageant, and appeared in a number of commercials and ads for popular brands, like Coca-Cola and Nestle. Impressed by her charisma and talent, the Maharaja Organisation, in a joint venture between Balaji Telefilms (India), picked Noshika to play the lead in television series Kindrangana, a remake of Hindi series Kasam Se. She then went on to appear in several teledramas such as Sanda Sakki, Arora, Sihina Sindrella, Ayal, and Pingaladanauwwa among others.
After her successful stint in the television industry, Noshika made her silver screen debut with Nino Live in 2009. The movie was a critical and commercial hit, pushing the actress in the limelight. She then starred in films like Gajaman and Night Rider. The multi-talented Noshika is also a singer and has music singles Saree Pote and Chewing Gum (Wage Kollo) to her credits.
