Zac Efron

Early Life :
Born as Zachary David Alexander ''Zac'' Efron is an American actor and singer who shot to fame with the High School Musical series. Efron was persuaded by his father him to pursue acting when Zac was eleven years old; eventually appearing in theatre productions at his high school, alongside working in theater. Efron bagged guest roles on several television series, including The Guardian (2001) and NCIS (2003).

Career Highlights :
Title roles in movies like Hairspray (2007), High School Musical 3: Senior Year (2008), and fantasy romance Charlie St. Cloud (2010) followed. Later he appeared in the movies like New Year's Eve (2011), That Awkward Moment (2014), Neighbors (2014). His upcoming release Dirty Grandpa is set to hit the screens on 29th January 2016).

Awards :
- He unanimously won the Critics Choice Award (2008) Best Acting Ensemble for Hairspray (2007).
- Zac Efron was awarded the People's Choice Award in 2011 and 2013 for Favourite Movie Star Under 25, among other laurels.
