Julia Roberts may have taught you how to eat, pray and love your way around the world, but this event being held at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse in Mumbai will teach you how to eat, play and love. Eat Play Love promises to be the most superior outdoor festival that there is. Not just that, it also promises to be a family festival, giving you a chance to encounter the best in the world of culinary, music and art.

The Mahalaxmi Racecourse is known for horse racing, and you can be rest assured that this majestic sport will be the highlight of Eat Play Love. Since it’s a family event, there’s plenty to keep the kids busy while the parents enjoy the horse racing event. Various toddler zones as well as a kid’s village will be set up to keep the tiny tots entertained. These zones will be jam packed with games and workshops so the children too can have the time of their life.

This event pledges to be Mumbai’s biggest food and music festival, so don’t be surprised if you come across food stalls displaying a wide range of culinary delights. From outdoor barbecue pits, cocktails, to savoury ice-creams, all can be found at Eat Play Love. That’s not all, witness as restaurants and home chefs put their best culinary foot forward bringing you treats that will leave you craving for more.

Some of the biggest names from the Bollywood music industry will also be present, crooning to the latest tracks, creating the perfect musical atmosphere for this event. You’ll get a chance to catch veteran singer, songwriter and music composer Lucky Ali live as he performs in his soulful yet striking ballad style singing. The dreamy Ayushmann Khurrana will also be present, singing some of his chart toppers. If your music tastes veer towards the slightly weird, funky and edgy, then you’re in luck. Vir Das’s comedy rock band the Alien Chutney will also be performing at this two day family event.

Apart from them stand-up comedian Zakir Khan, rapper Baba Sehgal , Australian alternative rock band Monks of Mellonwah, the band from Bombay The Other People, and Voctronica will be sharing the responsibility of keeping you entertained.

So if you’re looking for fun family events in Mumbai over the weekend, then get your tickets for Eat Play Love.
