Interactive plays & dances galore,
Lots of fun 7 joy is in store,
Summer is here and it’s time to rejoice,
Let your kids be, their time has arrived.

Now that summer is here, it is indeed time for you to sit back, relax and have some time off from your kids; and what better way to do that than keep them busy in activities which they like and grow with. Echoing these very sentiments, there are a lot of events and kids workshops happening in the city this season. Catering to a variety of interest levels and age groups, these workshops are not only fun, but engaging and enriching also. ‘The Little Actors Club’ , by Raell Padamsee’s Ace Academy, is one such workshop for the little ones who are interested in dramatics and acting. This is an exciting two-day workshop, designed to lay emphasis on two key features in a child's development confidence building and personality development. This workshop promotes 'free-flowing thought', using 'Theatre games' mime, use of a prop, stage positions, moods, etc. and is amazing as it all happens in a non-competitive, non-stressed and a fun-filled way.

Another one is the ‘Clown School‘at NCPA for children between 12 to 18 years. We observe and encounter various characters around us every day, some of them make us laugh, and some of them provoke us. Is it possible to put yourself in their shoes and experience the way they feel? There is always a method to madness. This workshop will take children through a series of playful exercises to give them tools to build a clown character that they can take home with them.

Another one in the list is ‘Mad Stuff With Rob’ , A four day workshop for the kids which will tickle a child’s creativity. With DIY art & crafts activities, creative trick & tips, visual arts and more, this event is a one stop shop for kids who wish to spark creative thinking while have a lot of fun. Afterall, iit is not without a reason that they say, “Art turns into magic only if you attend the Mad stuff with Rob.”

The last but not the least one is a ‘Kids Photography Workshop’ specially crafted for growing minds. Since photography is a simple and easy hobby to cultivate and doesn't require long learning periods, a workshop like this will help to improve the child's creative thinking and enhance the skills to observe and appreciate the beauty around. By attending this workshop and getting introduced to photography, children learn an activity that can keep them frequently engaged, active and curious.

With tickets and registrations to all these events available on popular ticketing platforms like BookMyShow, you now know where are kids are heading this summer!
