Yes, the name does make a difference every now and then! It’s been quite a while since the megastar Akshay Kumar has disappointed the audience and his fans. You talk about his movies or the Koffee with Karan interview, he has been the talk of town for all the good reasons. The actor has been showcasing his versatility as a businessman (Airlift), conman (Housefull 3) and a 50’s Navy officer (Rustom). Now willing to wear a character of a middle class lawyer set in the City of Nawab’s- Lucknow in Jolly LLB 2 , he is all set to throw light along with the director Subhash Kapoor on a serious case that sure would come to the headlines. Jolly LLB 2 is another film in the original franchise which was released in 2013 and starred Arshad Warsi and Boman Irani.

The exclusive trailer of trailer of Jolly LLB 2 which was released earlier today, starts with a courtroom scene where the lead actor establishes humour by asking a question about Bollywood’s biggest superstar Salman Khan’s marriage. No exaggeration but, we would say, that question will still be unanswered after centuries! Coming back to the plot, the common element Saurabh Shukla remains the same, a judge who is stubborn and beyond irritated with the nature of Jagdeeshwar Mishra played by our very own Khiladi Akshay. The trailer gives viewers a sense of what’s in store in this upcoming comedy flick, introducing other prime characters including Annu Kapoor as the opposition lawyer, Kumud Mishra and leading lady Huma Qureshi.

Right from flaunting a thick moustache to the side parted hair and the teeka on his forehead, it looks like Akshay is putting the Jolly in the title of the movie Jolly LLB 2. Where the 2 min 37 sec trailer starts on a humourous note, it ends on a serious undertone undergoing a transformation of all sorts when faced with an all-important case in and off the court.

Come 10th February when the movie releases, one would get to see what indeed is the core issue that is being fought by Jolly LLB 2, when he takes on the judiciary system and the state and how!.

Unmatched comic timing and the glimpse of situational humour is going to give you one helluva ride. Given the kind of talent on display here, this will be a movie you would definitely watch to give your daily humdrum life, a well- deserved break. Go take a quick look of the trailer in our Trailers and Videos section and book your February weekend now with your colleagues and family for a full-packed show!
