Arjun Kapoor fans are up for a double delight! The actor's much-awaited comedy film Mubarakan's first look is out and the twin avatar of Arjun certainly raises the expectations from the film. He will be seen playing twins, Karanveer and Charanveer Singh in this Anees Bazmee film. This is the first time fans will see him essaying a double role. Also, for the first time the actor is donning the role of a sardar in Mubarakan. He has gone through an intense training to prepare for this role. And we saw the glimpse of it in the recent episode of Koffee with Karan, where his Punjabi was on full display. The film is scheduled to hit the theatres on July 28 th next year.
Mubarakan will also see chacha-bhatija, Anil Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor sharing the screen together for the first time. And interestingly they would be reprising their real life roles as uncle and nephew in the film too. Bazmee has worked with Anil Kapoor many times and delivered hits like No Entry, Welcome and Welcome Back. This time around he has roped in Arjun and Anil both for this upbeat comedy. The film also stars Athiya Shetty, Neha Sharma and Ileana D'Cruz as leading ladies.
The shooting of the film has already begun and most of the film will be shot in Chandigarh. Few scenes will be pictured in the US and London too. What also piqued the interest of fans in Mubarakan is its first poster which is in a form of a wedding card. Arjun Kapoor shared it on his twitter and invited all for his movie which is all set to release in cinemas near you on July 28 th 2017. Judging from the pics and images both Anil and Arjun Kapoor have shared about Mubarakan on their twitter account, the film is all about Punjabi shaadi.
Produced by Sony Pictures Networks Productions and Cine 1 Studios and directed by the master of comedy, Anees Bazmee, Mubarakan looks like a comedy film Bollywood certainly needed for a while. Anil Kapoor’s amazing screen presence, combined with Arjun Kapoor's charm and effortless portrayal of characters will be a treat for the audience for sure.
