Music concerts in India have taken a giant leap. The latest being the Pentagram India tour that is a part of the phenomenal Fly Music Festival.
Pentagram, fronted by the uber-cool Vishal Dadlani, is an outfit that came together in 1994. They are considered as one of the pioneers of the Indian rock and independent music scene. When the band started they literally exploded in the music circuit by winning competitions all over India (that included the ones at the prestigious IITs). Watching them live is an amazing experience. The band is full of energy and their music is astounding. The band comprises Vishal Dadlani (of the Vishal-Shekhar fame), Randolph Correia (of the Shaair n' Func fame), Papal Mane and Shiraz Bhattacharya (of the Shkabang fame). Their second album “Up” which released in 2002 under Sony music created ripples across the music world.
The festival encompassed bands of many genres and this is one event that will keep everyone happy. The lineup
is stunning. It is like a dream come true for every music fanatic that exists in India and this festival is sure to pull in crowds from all over the country.
Indian electronica rock act Pentagram
is one act that a lot of people in the country love watching. Electrifying performances, pumpy music and headbanging material is what defines this band.
Pentagram will be a part of the festival that has artists/bands such as LimpBizkit,
Deep Purple, Ray Manzarek & Robby Krieger, KT Tunstall and many more performing live. Delhi
are in for a treat. The artist lineup
also includes Indian rock stalwarts Indus Creed, Thermal and a Quarter and many more.
Missing an elite lineup
such as this will be a huge mistake. Such opportunities come very rarely and missing them is almost like a sin.
