The extremely popular Indian Super League is here again for another successful season! After a largely appreciated first season, the ISL Season 2 is here for another time. One of India's biggest footballing events, the ISL is also India's unrivalled football contests, and will be commencing in late 2015. The league, which has been created after viewing and observing other footballing leagues from around the world will see many new things for Indian football. The league has been conceptualized and created by IMG Reliance, Star India and the All India Football Federation (AIFF). It is definitely a step forward in the attempt to make football a big sport in India. With many young footballers, the league has been loved and enjoyed by the people and the masses, and has a sizeable fan following. Apart from the usual industrialists who invest in sporting ventures, the ISL boasts of teams owned by celebrities and famous Bollywood actors. FC Pune City is owned by Hrithik Roshan, while FC Mumbai City is co-owned by Ranbir Kapoor. There are eight franchises, each of which represents a region of India - Chennai, Delhi, Goa, Guwahati, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Pune. Currently focused on investing in the propagation and maintenance of the stadiums currently available is the primary goal of the ISL. With stadiums in each venue, there isn't a single hitch. However, the real purpose of the Indian Super League is the creation and maintenance of a programme to help find, identify, train and groom youngsters who show promise and turn them into world class footballers. Like many other sporting leagues in India, this league will see a global fusion of players from all over the world play together.
