The unapologetically fierce Bang Bang Romeo, craft anthemic blues-rock enhanced by Anastasia Walker’s soaring, soul-infused vocals. Completed by Ross Cameron (guitars), Richard Gartland (drums) and Richard Cook (bass), the band are a force to be reckoned with.
In the past 12 months, Bang Bang Romeo have performed in stadiums and have also sold out their own UK tour, increasing admirers and aptitude along the way.
With the whole world on lockdown, Bang Bang Romeo have been itching to get back on the road to play for their fans, so when an opportunity from Live Nation came along for the band to perform their own virtual world tour, they jumped at the chance.
Over the past 12 months, Bang Bang Romeo have toured sold-out stadiums with pop icon P!NK, on her record-breaking 10th highest grossing tour of all time in UK and Europe, and dazzled audiences with performances at festivals including Reeperbahn (Germany), Eurosonic (Netherlands) Rock Werchter (Belgium), Montreux Jazz Festival (Switzerland) and Foire Aux Vins (France), supporting Sting.
The news of this virtual tour comes following postponements due to Covid-19, of their UK/European tour with Live Nation/PRK/Mojo/Barracuda and a whole host of festivals including the prestigious SXSW (performing for BBC 6 Music on the British Embassy Stage, OUTLOUD / LA Pride (being introduced on stage by Ru Paul’s Drag Race star Morgan McMichaels), and a set for End Of The Trail), Glastonbury (UK), Mad Cool (Spain), Paaspop (Netherlands), Sisters Of Music (Austria) and Heitere Open Air (Switzerland), plus LGBTQ+ events London Pride, Pride in The Park and Queer Festival (Germany).
The band maintain their ever-positive outlook during these uncertain times and have used this period during UK lockdown to reach their fans in as many ways as possible and have kept up the creativity, working on brand new music to follow up their debut album: A Heartbreaker, Guide To The Galaxy – which went straight into the iTunes Alternative Charts and iTunes Album Charts at #4 and #29 respectively.
