Kingsman Sports Group is excited to announce an international Snooker event in Colombo for January 2025, aimed at developing and popularising snooker in Sri Lanka.

An all-day event showcasing a snooker exhibition event/tournament with both international players (current players on tour and past world champions) and select local talent; high tea and short eats; drinks; merchandise stands; concessions stands.

General Event Information

1. What is the event date and time?

The event is scheduled for Sunday 5th January 2025 at 4 pm. 

Doors open at 2 pm for Heritage Club and Premium VIP ticket holders and 3pm for all other ticket holders.


2. Where is the event being held?

The event will be at The Forum, Cinnamon Life Hotel, located at Colombo. Directions and parking information are available on the event website.


3. What does the event include?

The event includes a live snooker exhibition with UK professional players, refreshments, etc. Specific inclusions depend on your ticket band.


4. What are the ticket options and what is included?

We offer four ticket bands:

  • 12-16 year olds: Snooker exhibition access and food.
  • General: Snooker exhibition access, food, complimentary cocktail on entry
  • Heritage Club: Same as General plus welcome reception from 2 pm, access to VIP lounge with premium beverages and canapes, Meet and Greet and photo opportunity with professional UK players, VIP seating in the arena and high tea.
  • Premium VIP: Same as Heritage Club plus exclusive dinner party with players, photo with World Championship trophy and exclusive gift bag.

Payment & Refunds

11. What payment methods are accepted?

We accept credit/debit cards, PayPal.


12. Are tickets refundable?

Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled or rescheduled.


13. Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?

Yes, tickets are transferable. Please notify us with the new attendee’s details at least 48 hours before the event via the email [email protected]


14. Do children need tickets?

Yes, children require tickets.


15. Are there any hidden fees?

No, the ticket price includes all fees. 

 

Event Logistics

16. What should I bring to the event?

Please bring a valid photo ID, your e-ticket or printed ticket, and any event-related confirmation emails.


17. Is there parking available?

Yes, the hotel provides parking. Spaces are limited, so we recommend arriving early.


18. Is there a dress code?

The dress code is casual. VIP ticket holders may want to dress formally for photo opportunities.


19. Are meals included?

Meals are included for ticket holders, and drinks are available for purchase for Children and General ticket holders.


20. Is there wheelchair accessibility?

Yes, the venue is wheelchair-accessible. 

 

During the Event

21. What time do door open?

Heritage Club and Premium VIP ticket holders: 2 pm

General ticket holders: 3 pm


22. What happens if I arrive late?

Late arrivals will be accommodated, but seating options may be limited.


23. Will there be a meet-and-greet?

Yes, meet-and-greet sessions are available for Heritage Club and Premium VIP ticket holders/


24. Can I bring a camera or recording device?

Personal photography is allowed, but professional equipment and recording are prohibited.


25. Are there assigned seats?

No, there is unreserved seating. 

VIP ticket holders get priority seating in a separate stand.

 

Post-Event Information

26. Will there be merchandise for sale?

Yes, event merchandise will be available at the venue.


27. Can I provide feedback about the event?

Absolutely! We welcome feedback via our website or Instagram.


28. Will the event be recorded or streamed?

The event will be recorded but not streamed.

  • This ticket is issued on behalf of the organisation responsible for the performance or event shown on the face and is subject to Terms and Conditions below.
  • The Management reserves the right to refuse admission or to eject a ticket holder for behaviour likely to cause damage, injury, nuisance or annoyance or failure to comply with the reasonable requests of the Management.
  • We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase, except in the case of a materially altered or cancelled performance/event. If any session does not last until the first interval a ticket may be exchanged for another session where available at the discretion of the Promoter. This does not affect your statutory rights.
  • Players appear circumstances permitting.
  • Any complaints about the ticket holder’s ability to view the event shall be made to the Promoter/Event Manager prior to or during the event.
  • Latecomers will only be admitted to the auditorium at a suitable break in the performance and at the discretion of the management.
  • Kingsman Snooker reserves the right to reallocate your seat if it is not occupied 5 minutes prior to the published start time of a session.
  • The Event Promoter reserves the right to amend or make alterations to the published details of the event as shall become necessary. Neither the Promoter nor the Venue Management shall be responsible for loss or damage to personal property brought into the Venue, unless cause by the negligence of the Promoter or the Venue Management.
  • The unauthorised use of cameras, video or any other form of recording equipment is strictly prohibited.
  • Only food and drink purchased on the premises may be consumed in the Venue.
  • Patrons are permitted to re-enter the Venue after exiting for any reason upon production of a valid ticket.
  • Tickets are non-transferable and not for re-sale.  Reselling a ticket for profit/commercial gain without the express permission of the Promoter will make it void and the holder may be refused entry to or removed from the Venue.  In addition, tickets bought from unauthorised sources may not be valid and admission to the event may not be permitted.
  • By entering the Venue all persons consent to being filmed, sound recorded and photographed while at the Venue and for such content to be used by the Event Promoter and its licensees without restriction in all media worldwide in perpetuity without any payment, reward, compensation or acknowledgement being owed to the person(s) featured in the content. If any person entering the Venue is under eighteen years of age, the parent, guardian or other adult accompanying that person at the Venue is deemed to give consent on their behalf unless the Event Promoter is notified to the contrary in writing. 
  •  In addition, Kingsman Sports Group assumes no responsibility for junior ticket holders.
  • Spectators are requested to dress smartly in the arena. The Event Promoter requests that no sportswear or team sport shirts are worn. If in the opinion of the Event Promoter an item of clothing is not deemed suitable to wear in the arena the person will be refused admission until such time they have found an alternative item of clothing that is deemed acceptable
  • Please note that strobe lighting and flashing lights may be used during the performance
  • Security personnel may wear body cameras in compliance with data protection and other relevant laws.
