Electric Enemy are a 4-piece from London touting an energetic angst powered by heavy guitars, colossal drums and dynamic vocals.
In the midst of a pandemic this emerging band didn’t expect to be performing in front of a global audience this summer and are eager at the chance to ‘virtually’ head out on the road in partnership with Live Nation and reach new territories. The announcement of this tour follows the release of their single Heartache Melody, which was Jack Saunders’ ‘Next Wave’ feature on BBC Radio 1 and solidified the band’s place on the ‘one’s to watch’ list on May 26th , with Jack commenting “there’s something in the water here…” The band just released their latest single Hollow Eyes on June 19th , which is scheduled for plays on BBC Radio 1 and features on Spotify’s All New Rock playlist. Heartache Melody was recorded with Andy Sheldrake (whose recent credits include Example and Elderbrook) and features on Spotify Editorial and Independent playlists including: Rock Hard, Dirty Rock, New Noise, Rock Idag, and All New Rock, as well as having received a lot of recognition on Amazon Music playlists. The song has been supported with plays on Radio X (John Kennedy) and was chosen for Amazing Radio’s ‘Plugged In’ feature w/c 6 th April, thanks to Elise Cobain.
The shape of the band’s summer changed due to the outbreak of Covid-19, but keeping busy during UK lockdown comes easy to Electric Enemy – songwriter, Jim, has been turning his talents to many different writing and production projects with prominent UK and US artists (including Daft Punk collaborator Todd Edwards) and has most recently worked on Example’s forthcoming album, contributing production and song writing.
The whole band have been busy in the studio working on their debut album with Sam Miller (Paloma Faith, Razorlight) and the diverse collection of songs take the listener on a journey; through alternative rock to indie pop that is electrifying in all the right places.
