February 17 and 18: Open days journey for everyone who visits Rainbow Warrior. Visitors register; Visit the berth; Photo Exhibition showcasing the life of the coastal communities and the climate impacts in the region; VR immersive booth on Sundarbans, this will involve a mangrove-like installation; Documentaries and videos that highlight the importance of conservation; Kids Zone; Enter the ship- go through the different stations: Helideck, Bridge and the Bow.

FAQs

1. Are IDs needed? 

Yes. Please bring valid identification so we can confirm your reservation/ invitation.


2. How many visitors can be accommodated per time slot?

To ensure the safety and comfort of all visitors, a maximum of 80 pax can accommodated every one hour. All visitors are advised to arrive at the venue at least 30 minutes prior to your chosen time slot.


3. How long does the tour take?

The tour will only take about 30 minutes, exclusive of waiting time at the dock. Please arrive before your scheduled time slot so we can accommodate you and your guests.


4. What can I bring into the event?

Please bring your own water in reuseable containers. We encourage you to eat before or after the tour so as not to generate more trash on-site. Any waste that you bring onboard must be brought with you when you leave the ship as Greenpeace is committed to making this a zero-waste event.

Wear comfortable, closed, non-slip shoes for safety reasons as the tour requires climbing steep and narrow stairs. High heels will not be allowed on board.

The following items will be helpful during your tour: sun/rain gear (hat or rain jacket, sunglasses, sunblock, and an extra shirt).


5. Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No need to print anything. Just save a soft copy of your event ticket. Don't forget to bring a valid ID we can confirm your reservation.


6. Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

No. The ticket or registration is non-transferable. The port requires ALL open boat visitors to pre-register so we can put their names on the authorized guest list.

  • Age Limit: Children, ages four (4) years old and above, will be allowed to visit the ship. However, please note that we will require one (1) adult companion per child aged 4-10 years old.
  • To ensure entry to the Colombo port, Greenpeace must submit identification documents on your behalf to the port authorities in advance. This will facilitate the issuance of visitor passes for your access.
  • Clear and legible document uploads are required
  • For each additional attendee (friends or family), please submit a separate response
  • The data will be stored on a third-party platform, subject to their data privacy policy. Your registration implies consent for Greenpeace and its representatives to contact you for additional details, and updates, regarding campaign or support requests.
