Bill Pullman is an American actor who started his career working with Kathy Bates in the stage production 'Curse of the Starving Class'. Although, the production was critically acclaimed, the film that put Pullman on the map was his debut in the 1986 film Ruthless People.
He then went on to star in popular films like Spaceballs (1987), The Accidental Tourist (1988), Sleepless In Seattle (1993), While You Were Sleeping (1995), Casper (1995), Independence Day (1996), Lake Placid (1999), and Lost Highway (1997), displaying amazing versatility in the kind of roles he chose to do. The actor also branched out to Broadway and starred in Edward Albee's The Goat, or Who is Sylvia? in 2002, and Peter and Jerry, bagging the Drama Desk Award Outstanding Actor in a Play for the latter.
Pullman also dabbled in television and featured in Revelations (2006), Torchwood: Miracle Day (2008), 1600 Penn (2012) and The Sinner (2017), before he was cast in the film The Equalizer 2 (2018).
