One of the most prominent veteran actors of South Indian cinema, Delhi Ganesh is best known for his roles in the movies Nayakan (1987) and Michael Madhana Kama Rajan (1990). Ganesh, who began his career in 1976 with the movie Pattana Pravesham has acted in over 400 movies and is generally seen portraying supporting roles. In 1979, he received the Tamil Nadu State Film Award Special Prize for his performance in the movie Pasi. He also portrayed the role of Alfred Pennyworth in the short film What if Batman was from Chennai. In 2016, he turned producer with the movie Ennul Aayiram. His 2017 release includes the movie Kaatru Veliyidai (dubbed in Telugu as Cheliyaa) directed by Mani Ratnam.
