Dilhani Ashokamala Ekanayake is a multi-award-winning Sri Lankan film and TV actress and a model. She made her acting debut with Yasapalitha Nanayakkaras 1990 movie, Dedunnen Samanaliyak. Since then Ekanayake has starred in movies like Kolompoor (1999), Me Mage Sandai (2000), Kauda Bole Alice (2000), Mage Wam Atha (2002), Cheriyo Holman (2002), Sundarai Adare (2003), Sonduru Dadabima (2003), Ra Daniel Dawal Migel 3 (2004), Sudu Kalu Saha Alu (2005), Sewwandi (2006), Naga Kanya (2007), Siri Raja Siri (2008), Puthuni hambagiya (2008), Akasa Kusum (2008), Sinasuna Adaren (2009), Sinhawalokanaya (2011), Gamani (2011), Que Sera (2014), Spandana (2015), Lantin Singho (2015) and Aloko Udapadi (2017). Ekanayake has won multiple awards, including the Sarasaviya Best Actress Award at the Sarasaviya Film Festival in 2005. She also won the Best Actress Award at the First Derana Lux Film Awards in 2012 for her role in Gamani. She is married to renowned singer Priyankara Perera and has a son named Dilmin Perera. In 2017 Dilhani Ekanayake starred alongside Jackson Anthony, Kusum Renu, Kumara Thirimadura, Thisuri Yuwanika and Roshan Pilapitiya in Cheyyar Ravis Dharmayuddhaya. The movie is an official remake of Jeethu Josephs Malayalam movie, Drishyam (2013).
