An American screenwriter, director, and producer, George Nolfi is noted for his work in Hollywood cinema. An alumnus of the Princeton University, Nolfi made his debut in the film industry with Timeline (2003) as a screenwriter. He subsequently wrote for films like Oceans Twelve (2004), The Sentinel (2006), which also marked his debut as a producer, The Bourne Ultimatum (2007) and The Adjustment Bureau (2011). The screenwriter-turned-director made his debut as a director with The Adjustment Bureau, which was also produced by him. His other notable directorial ventures include Birth of the Dragon, a martial arts action film starring Philip Ng, Xia Yu, and Billy Magnussen. The film, which is a fictional account of the legendary yesteryear martial artist Bruce Lee was screened at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2016 and was released in theaters in August 2017.
