Haley Lu Richardson is an American actress who is best known for her role as Krista in the 2016 comedy film The Edge of Seventeen. She was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. Richardson was the lead dancer at Cannedy Dance Company, where she performed for 8 years. She was awarded National Dancer of the Year and also won the 'Peoples Choice Award' at the Young Artist's competition. One of her first appearances on television was in the made for TV movie, Adopted (2013). Her other television roles include shows like Shake It Up! (2010-2013), Escape from Polygamy (2013), Ravenswood (20132014), Awkward. (20112016), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999 ), Mortal Kombat X: Generations (2015) and Recovery Road (2016). Richardsons big screen debut in the dystopian action/drama, The Last Survivors (2014). Her other well-known movies are The Young Kieslowski (2014), The Bronze (2015), Follow (2015) and The Edge of Seventeen (2016). Richardson stars alongside James McAvoy and Anya Taylor-Joy in director M. Night Shyamalans horror thriller Split (2017).
