The Chennai-born Harris Jayaraj is one of the most prominent music composers in the South industry. Although he is predominantly a part of the Tamil film industry, he has also composed music for Telugu and Hindi language movies. Having won several awards, some of his award-winning compositions have been for movies such as Minnale (2001), Kaakha Kaakha (2003), Anniyan (2005), Ghajini (2005), and Vaaranam Aayiram (2008) to name a few. As of 2017, Jayaraj is associated with movies like Singam 3, Sambhavami, Vanamagam, and Dhruva Natchathiram.
