A renowned English music composer, pianist, and songwriter, Henry Jackman is noted for composing for action films including Kong: Skull Island, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, X-Men: First Class and Captain Phillips. An alumnus of the University of Oxford, Jackman started composing music for films under the tutelage of his mentor Hans Zimmer. He assisted Zimmer in several movies like The Da Vinci Code, The Dark Knight, and the Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. Having started his musical career as a solo artist, he recorded many solo albums before eventually making his debut in a feature film with The Da Vinci Code (2006). Over the years, Jackman has composed for more than 20 films and his 2017 film includes Kingsman: The Golden Circle, an action spy comedy directed by Matthew Vaughn. Apart from films, Jackman has also composed for TV series' like Monsters vs Aliens: Mutant Pumpkins from Outer Space and Turbo FAST. His 2018 releases include Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, The Predator and Ralph Breaks The Internet: Wreck it Ralph 2.
