Idina Kim Menzel is an American Singer/Songwriter/Actor/Theatre performer who rose to prominence after playing Maureen Johnson in the Broadway Musical 'Rent.' She has a multitude of awards to her credit including a Tony Award in 2004 in the 'Best Actress in a Musical' category for Wicked. Menzel is known for playing Shelby Corcoran on the musical dramedy TV series Glee from 2010 to 2013 and Nancy Tremaine in the 2007 Disney live-action/animated film Enchanted.
Menzel earned immense praise from critics in the year 2013 when she starred as Elsa in the animated musical film Frozen. The film became the highest-grossing animated film of all time, and one of the highest-grossing films of all time. For this film, Menzel also sang the Oscar and Grammy award-winning song ''Let It Go'' for which she was praised in particular. Menzel is also featured in the song 'For the first time in forever' and its reprise. She has reprised her role of Elsa in video games Disney Infinity series and Kingdom Hearts III, in the 2015 short film Frozen Fever, in the 2017 featurette short film Olaf's Frozen Adventure, in the 2018 film Ralph Breaks the Internet, and for Frozen 2 in 2019.

The concert aired on PBS on October 20, 2010. Artistically, she is classified as a Mezzo-Soprano.
